Jenna is a Boston-based maker, performer, and educator.
This season she is creating with Bridge Repertory Theater, Hubbard Street Professional Program, Brandeis University Theater Department, Salem State University Theater Department, and Urbanity Dance, and is the resident dramaturg and rehearsal director for the Boston-based 'Davis Sisters', Alex Davis and Joy Davis. She has choreographed for Boston Moving Arts Productions, Providence College, InDance Barcelona, Theater Felina-Areal Mannheim, Salem State University, and in NYC focused on immersive performance with The Center for Innovation in the Arts at Juilliard and Dau al Set Productions. Additionally, she is a Communications Assistant for Springboard Danse Montréal and a Dance Fellow at the Institute of Contemporary Arts Boston.
She is a performer with Alexander Davis Dance, Ali Kenner Brodsky, Betsy Miller, Heather Stewart, and the Reciprocity Collaborative. She has previously danced for Bridge Repertory Theater, Scottish Dance Theatre, The Metropolitan Opera, American Repertory Theater, Bryan Arias, Equus Projects, and BOP Montréal. Beyond the stage, she is dancing in the 2019 feature film 'Little Women' directed by Greta Gerwig, was in a music video for Arcade Fire's Will Butler, featured in Pantone's 'make it brilliant' ad campaign, a highlighted Harvard Business School Online alumnus, and guested on the Playbill podcast: The Compass.
Jenna holds an M.A. with Distinction in Choreography from the Institute of the Arts Barcelona, a Certificate with Honors from Harvard Business School’s HBX CORe program, and a B.F.A. in Dance Performance from The Juilliard School. She teaches locally at The Boston Ballet School, Salem State University, and Urbanity Dance. She has worked as a dance educator for Lincoln Center Education, Together in Dance, Children’s Musical Theater Camp China, and Co-Directed The Arusha Arts Initiative in East Africa.
