A multifaceted performance piece of dance, music and art. PARt is reflecting on memories in and amongst movements, music and visual landscapes. Swain’s music is raw, emotional material, pulled from experience in loss and growth. It flows alongside the dancers, rather than punctuating them, so that the music and the dance are two working parts of a larger machine.

This is the first evening-length performance for Swain and Kenner Brodsky, whose collaborations began in 2013, with Swain and her late husband David Lamb writing and performing as Providence duo Brown Bird.
